Call for nominations: Council of the Chartered Association of Business Schools
The Chartered Association of Business Schools would like to invite nominations from the voting representatives of our member schools who are interested in serving as members of the Council, and therefore trustees of the Chartered charity, for a period of three years, starting from November 2024.
There are three positions available for voting representatives with full membership.
About the role
The Chartered ABS Council comprises of 12 elected members who are voting representatives of our member UK business schools, plus a number of co-opted members.
The Council meets four times annually, typically at our London office three times in-person, with one meeting online.
Members of the Council are expected to take an active role in the governance of the Chartered ABS and in one of its committees or working groups. Their role is to support the work of the organisation and oversee its effective management. Council discusses and agrees the strategy and major projects and helps steer the focus of the Annual Conference.
